Terms of service

CPCS lets you apply for, pay for, track and receive construction permits, certificates and licences online. Applications submitted through CPCS have the same standing as applications filed at a service center.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you submit and for keeping the one-time codes sent to your phone private. Organizations act through the representative named in their authorization letter.

Permits are granted or refused by the Authority under the applicable building regulations. Service fees are published in the catalog and invoiced inside the portal; a fee does not guarantee approval.

CPCS operates under the building and land-use regulations of the Addis Ababa City Administration and the digital-service policies of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Where these terms and the law differ, the law applies.
