Privacy notice

To open and process an application we collect your identity details (Fayda national ID, Addis Ababa City ID or TIN), contact details, the property and business records you link, and the documents and drawings you upload.

Identity details are verified against the national ID, revenue and trade registries at registration; only the verification result and the profile fields needed for your case are stored.

Your data is used solely to process, review, decide and issue construction permits, certificates and licences, to invoice and reconcile service fees, to notify you about your cases, and to keep the statutory public record of decisions.

Authorized officers of the Authority involved in your case, and the government registries the Authority is required to consult. Issued permits carry a QR seal that lets anyone confirm their authenticity without exposing your personal details.

Permit decisions are public records and are retained as required by law. You can review and update your profile under My profile, and request corrections through the complaints service.
