Accessibility statement
CPCS is built to be usable by every citizen, on any device, in Amharic and English.
Last updated: September 2026
What we do
The portal follows the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines: strong colour contrast, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, labelled controls, semantic headings and screen-reader announcements for status changes.
Animations are reduced or removed when your device asks for reduced motion, and the interface scales with your text-size settings.
Alternatives
If you cannot complete a step online, the CPCS AI assistant offers voice conversation in Amharic, and any service can be completed at a service center by appointment.
Tell us
If a page is hard to use, report it through the complaints service and name the page. Accessibility problems are treated as service faults.
